The monitor alerts the caregiver, providing an early warning when the patient attempts to exit the bed.

The Quiet Cordless Wandering Prevention Bed Alert System is easy to use and does not require a monthly monitoring service to operate. Caregivers place the bed sensor pad underneath the fitted sheet on the patient’s bed around the shoulder level and place the monitor in another room with the caregiver. As soon as the patient rises to get out of bed, the alarm sounds in the room with the caregiver, alerting the caregiver in plenty of time to stop the patient from leaving the room. This Quiet Cordless Wandering Prevention Bed Alert System includes the portable Economy Cordless Alert programmed to a Cordless 10 x 30-inch Weight-Sensing Bed Sensor Pad and is designed to alert caregivers when an at-risk Alzheimer’s or Dementia patient attempts to leave their bed without assistance. The Bed Sensor Pad is positioned underneath the fitted sheet on top of the mattress and beneath the patient’s upper torso. When the patient attempts to get out of the bed, which removes their weight from the sensor pad, a wireless signal is transmitted to the portable caregiver monitor to notify the caregiver. The monitor can be placed up to 300 feet away from the resident, allowing you to remove startling alarm noise from the room and create a quiet & secure environment for each patient.
